You are not alone.

For centuries, our ancestors (close, distant, adopted) shared a common ground. Transcultural earth-based animist practices were intrinsic to health, meaning, and vitality.

Our contemporary mental health pandemic has a connection to feeling uprooted, unmoored, like little boats out at a random un-benevolent at best kind of sea. Oftentimes, we are simply waiting for the other shoe to drop.

This disconnection from the environment around us is status quo, and earth-based relationship is often described as “alternative.” Glancing back into history, we can see that disconnection, is alternative.

Returning to my ancestral mythology and earth-based wisdom (Daoism, Buddhism, Chinese medicine) is an ongoing journey of reclaiming mind-body-spirit relationship with self and community. Your journey is unique too, informed by your ancestors by birth, and your families and sacred communities of choice. Connecting with nature in accessible and personally meaningful ways, opens a portal to a world that is much more alive, intelligent, and abundant with medicine and intuitive guidance, just for you.

Whether it’s a quiet moment in the woods, or observing that scrappy, humble, beautiful dandelion, finding it’s footing in the middle of a busy manhattan sidewalk.

Nature is speaking to you, every day, often in the gentlest of ways. How has this shown up for you lately?
