Navigating Religious Trauma

Spiritual and religious communities are not all safe havens. Differential power dynamics, toxic gender roles, and dogmatic spiritual bypassing can create the perfect storm for abuse, alienation, and victim blaming.

If we can manifest all of our realities, what happens when illness arrives, when loved ones enter hospice, when happenstance leads to injury — despite all of our good intentions?
